WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT EMC

Gilles Peterson
"EMC was one of the highlights of my year. An event celebrating the growth of electronic music and beyond in Australia is much needed to keep inspiring the next generation of musicians and producers in a country which has been making giant strides globally. I was very impressed by this event. Long may it continue."

Mirik Milan
"Thank you Sydneysiders for having me in your beautiful, intense, big city. I think the people are the heart and soul of this city and they make it into the special place that it is today! And of course a big shout out goes out to all the crew at EMC for having me over!"

Nick Groff
"The Australian music scene has become a hotbed for music and sound development over the past couple years. EMC was an incredible way for myself as an A&R guy to discover and develop relationships with artists and producers that curate the sound of Australia. I was able to cary many of those relationships back to the US, some in the form of perspective clients, others as collaborators on projects I’m currently working at Interscope and many as muses of personal inspiration."

“EMC is the ultimate destination to explore, discuss and analyze the Australian music scene for experienced industry insiders and newcomers alike. For an international outsider like myself, EMC offered both a wide-spanning overview of the industry’s overall operations as well as a detailed look into its daily inner workings. Additionally, the 2017 edition’s focus on pertinent social and cultural issues allowed a platform to openly discuss the country’s concerns of the day. The insight, knowledge and networking provided at EMC are invaluable.”
