EMC announces its new home – the Frank Gehry designed, multi-award winning Dr Chau Chak Wing Building at UTS in Ultimo. Mind-blowing outside and inside, this landmark building’s unique design is a physical manifestation of the innovative thinking that underpins the UTS Business School. Besides the building’s 5 Star Green Star Design rating certified by the Green Building Council of Australia, the Dr Chau Chak Wing Building has a state of the art auditorium and multiple breakout spaces including 360 engagement spaces, providing the perfect home for EMC’s new conference program format. Best of all, it enables EMC to house all conference program activities under one roof, delivering an unprecedented experience for EMC attendees to take in the entire conference program whilst delivering ease for attendees to meet new connections.

EMC Executive Producer Jane Slingo said of EMC’s move to UTS’Dr Chau Chak Wing Building:
“Having worked on EMC’s team since it’s inaugural year, I’ve personally been a part of the journey through many different venues EMC has been held at around Sydney since 2012. EMC has never quite found the perfect home to enable people to take in the conference, whilst also making it very easy to have meetings in private spaces between sessions. The moment our team walked into UTS’ Dr Chau Chak Wing Building, we felt a strong sense of excitement to finally find a home which delivers everything EMC’s attendees need to ensure the best conference experience.”
