EMC is a conference and festival held annually in Sydney, Australia each November. The conference is held over two days and the festival is held over five days and nights.
The conference includes networking and relationship building events, inspirational keynotes and in-conversations, workshops, masterclasses, panel and roundtable discussions. Past guest speakers include Alison Wonderland, Andrew Weatherall, Armin Van Buuren, Carl Cox, Dillon Francis, Diplo, Flume, Gilles Peterson, Greg Wilson, Hermitude, Honey Dijon, Nina Kraviz, Nina Las Vegas, Peking Duk, Rainbow Chan, Sasha, The Presets, Tiesto and many, many more. \
The festival is five days and nights of parties, showcases, pop-ups and film screenings. Over 70 artists perform across a variety of parties and venues, covering a range of different electronic music genres. Past artists who have performed at EMC include Cosmo’s Midnight, Crooked Colours, Disclosure, Dom Dolla, Fred P, Gilles Peterson, Greg Wilson, Hayden James, LDRU, Miss Blanks, Motez, Muto, Nicole Millar, Rainbow Chan, SAFIA, Sampology, Sasha, Set Mo, Touch Sensitive, UV Boi and many, many more.

EMC is the leading music industry event of its kind in the Asia Pacific region. EMC conference is held at the Dr Chau Chak Wing Building at UTS, Ultimo Road, Ultimo.

You will need media accreditation to cover EMC. Media accreditation requires approval. Applications for media accreditation opens on Monday October 15 at 9am. We will send an email to all media with the form to apply for accreditation on this date.
