Alongside his producing, promoting and Djing as JPS / Idle Minds Workshop, Jerry Poon is the founder and head of The Operatives: a collective of musicians, tours and the infamous Espionage events. Promoting innovative producers and raising the bar for music across Australia, the gigs are a clandestine world of unforgettable live sets and mind-bending visuals, held in secretive locations citywide. Past tours have included the likes of Flying Lotus, Thundercat, Jonwayne, Tokimonsta, Mr Carmack, Om Unit, Soulection, Harmonic 313, Floating Points, DJ Rashad and Actress amongst many more. He’s currently managing Billy Davis, SILENTJAY and Jordan Dennis as well as being one of founders of Let Them Eat Cake NYD festival.
