“This song is like a little fluffy cloud. With lots of tears inside. ” – Richard Kingsmill, Triple J
“Listening to this with four surrounding walls isn’t fair. Someone ship over that wardrobe closet from Narnia because I need a magical portal to get me to Kids At Midnight. Alternatively, a sandy beach or flower-filled meadow will also do nicely. “Silence” isn’t about not having something to say, it’s about being in awe and singer Jane Elizabeth Hanley leaves me speechless.” – Kick Kick Snare
“Her voice is no less than stunningly gorgeous as the reverb hits and she sings of the pain associated with not being able to turn off her emotions from a past life and a past love. It’s a tale we’re all familiar with, although it may never have been spoken so well until now.” – Meredith Schneider, Impose Magazine
