Part of the Sydney electronic music scene furniture Kristen Marconi is still in love with how music and events can give us opportunities to connect to ourselves and others and wants to see what it can do in the social education and wellness space now with her new project Daybreaker Sydney that launched in Sydney early 2019 and new plans for Let The People Dance in 2020. Daybreaker has taken off in it’s first year here giving Sydney a wellness sober morning rave with a whole lot of surprises to get us to wake up and dance in spaces you wouldn’t expect to be allowed like the Opera House and Sydney Tower Eye. Craving a healthier lifestyle and having equal love for fitness Kristen got clean and sober for 12 months and returned to fitness industry… not taking long to miss the dancefloor where all her inspiration and friends come from. After writing on a vision board: Yoga, dance, music, events, social enterprise, sunrises, sunsets, nature, community, empowering others, live music, DJs, acrobats, dancers, health, fitness, education an email landed in her inbox while working in a fitness studio about a role as producer to bring Daybreaker now in 26 cities globally after launching in NYC as they were looking for someone in the wellness and music scene in Sydney. Magic. You really can put it all together and it’s so much fun to do so. This is only the beginning Kristen and team at Daybreaker and Let The People Dance are clear on one thing. Dancing is good for us. Let’s do more of it.
