Matthew Tinkler is an electronic music producer, composer, audio engineer and educator from Melbourne, Australia. After finishing high school in 2014, he went on to graduate from the Australian Institute of Music with a Bachelor of Music (Composition and Music Production) in 2016, following it up with a Bachelor of Music (Honours) (Interactive Composition) at the University of Melbourne in 2018.
Matt has released multiple EPs and singles under his solo electronic moniker Martiln, is a member of Electro-Pop duo Twofold Vision and is CEO of Melbourne-based music producer community Beat Collective. He is also an accomplished producer and engineer, having worked with both local and international artists.
Currently undertaking a Masters in Interactive Composition at the University of Melbourne, Matt hopes to pursue his passion of music further as an artist and educator and push the boundaries of contemporary electronic music.

Beat Collective is an inclusive community of music producers based in Melbourne, Australia, providing a platform for personal, professional and creative development for producers of varying backgrounds and skill levels. After establishing in 2016, Beat Collective now offers online groups, forums, creative challenges, giveaways, events, and live showcases.
To date, Beat Collective has grown to over 600 followers, with more than 150 local and international producers involved in the community. Over 375 tracks have been produced as part of our creative challenges, and we have hosted over 20 live electronic music showcases at venues around Melbourne, with additional affiliate events and collaborations with The Push, APRA AMCOS, TRNSMT radio, Melbourne Electronic Sound Studio, and Collarts University.
